Interview with Monday Nite Footballers member Carl Clark. Clark discusses growing up in the 18th & Vine area and how the area has changed over the decades, working as a machinist at Colgate-Palmolive, having Chiefs season tickets and befriending players, and the Monday Nite Footballers group, their parties, and their longstanding friendship.

Interview with Charles Allen, dentist and member of the Monday Nite Footballers group. Topics discussed include growing up in the 18th & Vine area; attending Lincoln High School; working at his his father's restaurant, Charles's Famous Chicken Shack; his family's nightclubs Club Sands and Birdland and other area nightclubs and the jazz musicians who played at them, including Jay McShann and Miles Davis; attending Pittsburg State University and Lincoln University, and later University of Missouri, Kansas City's dental school; opening his dental practice in the Lincoln Building and working at other jobs; and the origins and activities of the Monday Night Footballers. Allen discusses cooking for their gatherings, their annual New Year's Eve party, socializing with Chiefs players, attending games at Municipal and Arrowhead stadiums, fundraising for scholarships, and their series of columns in the Kansas City Call newspaper.

Interview with Don Williams, member of the Monday Nite Footballers group. Williams recalls growing up in California, serving in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, his understanding of race and racism living in diverse communities in those phases of his life, and learning of the Monday Nite Footballers through their Kansas City Call column circa 2021. He discusses meeting the group, being the only white man in a group of Black men, how he views the Monday Niters as influential community elders, his thoughts about current politics, and the Chiefs as an anchor point for deeper, long-lasting friendships.

Interview with Congressman and former Kansas City mayor Emanuel Cleaver II. Cleaver discusses the importance of sports in maintaining social ties, the individuals who are a part of the Monday Nite Footballers group, a number of whom were members of his congregation, and the lifetime membership the group received from the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the NAACP. He also discusses the role of women in the civil rights movement, traveling to Africa with President Barack Obama, Tell's work with the family of Emmett Till, and both men's relationships with Rev. Wheeler Parker, Jr.

Interview with Judge Howard Sachs about his life, work, and experience as part of the Kansas City Jewish community. He discusses his legal education and evolution on racial issues, He calls cases dealing with the desegregation of the Swope Park and Parade Park pools, the integration of the Kansas City Bar Association, his experience with the Urban League, and working to enact desegregation laws in Kansas City prior to the passage of the Civil Rights Act. He also discusses the support for civil rights issues from area rabbis, his work on the Kansas City School District desegregation committee, and his support for the Equal Rights Amendment.

Interview with Jason Joseph, vice president and operations manager of the Kansas City Call. Joseph discusses the history and current operations of the Call, his understanding of the legacy of the paper and its future, other Black newspapers in the Kansas City area, and the Monday Niters' weekly columns in the paper. He discusses the group's rapport and influence in the Black community, issues they discuss in their columns in addition to football commentary, their longstanding friendships, historical perspective, and mentorship, and his opinions about the Chiefs' and Royals' potential new stadium locations and his advice to younger generations.

Interview with Jim Nunnelly, a community leader, radio host, newspaper columnist, and member of the Monday Nite Footballers. Nunnelly discusses his experiences at the University of Missouri, participating in a sit-in at a Columbia restaurant, moving to Kansas City to work with Dr. Samuel Rodgers at the Wayne Miner Health Clinic, the numerous challenges in connecting people to healthcare resources, the role of housing in healthcare access, crime prevention, drug treatment vs. incarceration, and his view "that budgets and movements go hand in hand." 

He also discusses the Monday Nite Footballers as a group of men who came of age through integration and understood there was more work to do, starting their Kansas City Call column at the suggestion of Lucile Bluford, and describes the group as united by their shared interest in football and longstanding friendships, but that their mission is to prepare and "protect the upcoming generation."

Interview with retired educator and member of the Monday Night Footballers, John Martin. Martin discusses his childhood, college education, and early jobs in St. Louis; later working as an engineer at McDonnell Aircraft and as a teacher and administrator, and shares memories of cars he's owned throughout his life; and he describes the activities and relationships within the Monday Niters, who he joined after moving to Kansas City circa 2010, their role in communicating issues to the community via their column in the Kansas City Call, and his thoughts about current politics.

Interview with Lloyd Greenfield, retired firefighter and member of the Monday Nite Footballers. Greenfield discusses growing up in Kansas City, being raised by a single mother after the death of his father, his career as a fireman, and the longstanding social ties and activities of the Monday Night Footballers group. Lloyd's wife Geneva Greenfield was present for the interview and also shared thoughts and memories.

Interview with Marvin Robinson. Robinson discusses his family background, memories of his childhood community, attending Sumner High School and Emporia State University, his experience within his church, enlisting in the navy, and his service in Asia.
